I've just completed a new mix for everyone to enjoy. This time I tried things differently, instead of the high energy dance music, this one is darker and moodier. It's also much shorter than others and it clocks in at about 14 minutes.

Mi Confesión

Mi Confesión featuring MC Koxmos has to be one of the most stand out tracks off of Gotan Project's Lunático. Here's is the excellent Edu K Drop The Bass remix from the vinyl. I'm pretty sure there is some heavy M.I.A. sampling in this mix, which is never a bad thing.

PS, if anybody can find the Mi Confesion (Sandrinho DJ’s Aumentaosom Remix) from the same release, let me know. I can't find it anywhere.

Artist of the Week: Gotan Project

This Parisian musical group keeps its routes in tango, but experiments with electronic beats, breaks and samples to create something completly original and their own. Formed in 1999, Gotan Project have released 3 studio albums, La Revenca Del Tango in 2001, Inspiración Espiración in 2004 and Lunático last year. I've included 2 of my favorite songs, the first coming from their debut album, and the second, a collaberation between Gotan Project and Italian rapper Koxmoz, from Lunático.
